lyrics

It’s a strong start to the weak end, I’ve finally left my room. But I know this exploration could leave me feeling vacant so I’d best head back there soon.

I’ve never had too much on my resume, I don’t do well with lies. I hate telling people that I’m better than I am. I wasn’t born with a sense of pride.

I’ve found joy in odd places where money can’t be spent. It’s filled with familiar faces lacking common sense.

I tried to impress with big abbreviations it didn’t help the situation. I put up my hand for the job and applied. I didn’t get an E.O.I but I don’t care.

I’ve found joy in odd places where money can’t be spent. It’s filled with familiar faces lacking common sense.

Then there’s you. You seem to pull it off but you’re someone that I’m not and I’m hoping that’s ok. Cause I’d hate to see you leave.

I’d like to let you know I’ll keep you close if you’ll ignore the fact I’m unemployed but I’ll never toy with your money. I like you in my life cause we’ve spent time and I’d like more please. I know that I’m worse off where you are not so stay here for me.
